Stake drop code not working? Here's why

1. The drop was fully claimed

This is by far the most common reason. Every drop has a total budget, and once enough players have claimed it, it closes for everyone. Popular drops can run out within moments. See how fast Stake drops run out.

2. You don't meet the requirement

Most drops require a minimum amount wagered over a recent period, for example the last 7 days. If your account is below it, the code will be refused even if the drop is still open. See Stake drop requirements explained.

3. You reached the daily limit

Stake allows up to 10 drop claims per account per day, counted by the UTC day. After 10, new codes won't work until the next UTC day begins. See Stake's daily drop limit.

4. A typo or an extra space

Codes are exact. A missing letter, a mixed-up character such as 0 and O, or a space copied at the end can all cause a failure. Copy the code directly and paste it.

5. You already claimed it

Each account can claim a drop once. If you redeemed it earlier, trying again will fail.

6. Wrong site

Stake.com and Stake.us are separate sites with separate codes. A code from a Stake.com channel won't work on Stake.us, and the other way round.

7. Session or security check problems

If you have been logged in for a long time, your session may have expired. Refresh stake.com, make sure you are still logged in, and complete the security check when it appears.

8. Account restrictions

Some accounts can't use certain offers, for example because of the account's region or verification status. In that case, Stake's support team can tell you what applies to your account.
